NPTN!
Spring 2022 - Present
A clothing brand I started (originally as WAEV) and have been running myself since its conception. I create all of the designs, do photoshoots for each drop, and edit everything that involves the brand.
NPTN! is my outlet for experimenting with what I have learned as a Product Design student. It was my introduction to using custom woven jacquard, which has now become a staple in a lot of my work.
The brand identity takes inpiration from early 2000s aesthetics that I grew up around with a futuristic twist. At my core, I have always been an artist, and I want the products I make to feel like immersive art on the user.
My releases consist of new custom-made sweaters, screenprinted t-shirts, and a variety of upcycled clothing. I plan to continue developing this brand with a greater emphasis on sustainability and upcycling.

DROP 1
April 2023
My first release after rebranding from WAEV to NPTN! It consisted of two brand new hoodie designs that I personally hand-dyed and customized with jacquard woven fabric that I also designed myself. Three upcycled sweaters were also sold that were modified using jacquard fabric from my past projects.
I dealt with a few challenges in the making of this drop. The main one being that the dyeing process did not go as planned and all of the blue and lavender hoodies came out horribly stained. This led to me completely changing the design to work around these stains, but in the end, it made each hoodie a one-of-a-kind.
This was a big drop for NPTN! because it was the first drop to sell out!
FKA WAEV
Spring 2022 - April 2023
WAEV (short for “We are evolving”) was initially what I wanted NPTN! to be. However, I hadn’t established a strong brand identity yet as WAEV and I felt that I was limiting myself and running into a wall. I consider it to be a prototyping phase where I tested the waters of making and selling softgoods before going in a properly realized creative direction.
Two drops were done before I fully rebranded. The first focused on two sweater designs that I made featuring some of my colored pencil artwork woven into jacquard fabric.
The second drop was done as part of the release for my zine, “On the Line”. It featured two screenprinted shirt designs with my own stitchwork added.
