OVERVIEW
The first half of the internship consisted of reintroducing Apparel Empire to the social media landscape. I scripted, produced, and edited short videos for them to inform potential customers about manufacturing processes they provide, making me their social media spokesperson in Singapore.
The second half consisted of primarily design work like making tech packs and refining pre-existing ones. I was granted the opportunity of designing my own hoodie for them to make a sample of as well
marketing contributions
From the first week to the end, I was put in charge of creating content for their social media pages that I also started and managed. Video topics consisted of their in-house manufacturing processes as well as documenting my internship journey to attract future potential interns.b
Beyond scripting, producing, and editing videos, I also conducted social media trend research to produce relevant content and researched a wide range of influencers/brands that the company could utilize as collaborators.
OVERVIEW
Design work assigned to me focused on revamping pre-existing tech packs for clients and making new ones for upcoming samples. I was put in charge of redesigning their delivery tote for clients and suppliers. The previous tote was only one size and would often tear due to lack of support. My design addressed these issues.
My boss was pleased with my work, so he allowed me to design a hoodie sample for my brand, NPTN! I applied everything I learned and later wore the sample to my first fashion show.
